Meet Jesse and Linda, Your Hosts.

For the last 15 years, Linda and Jesse have been leading both domestic and international missionary trips together. But the "why" for each of them goes back much farther.

Jesse's life is steeped in the San Francisco Bay area. After graduation from San Jose State University, he worked as a community organizer for the City of Freemont. In this position, he partnered with local community groups in developing non-profit programs for city residents of all ages and interests. A heart for working with people from varied cultures and diverse lifestyles was the result of this position. He has brought this love of cutlural differences to his and Linda's work. His goal on mission trips is for others to see the value of God's work and how that work impacts their lives.

Jesse's challenge to you: "Give at least a week on a short term mission trip and see how your life will change. It will never be the same."

Linda, all 4'10" of her, is also a native Californian. She was born in Oakland and spent her growing up years in Richmond. Her life has helped her to see God's fingerprints in every area of her life. With degree from both BIOLA University and UCSB, her learning has never stopped. She is the definition of a life-long learner. Her life and her story demonstrates the power of a life dedicated to saying "yes" to Jesus at any time or place. While she has experienced great disappointments with the death of a spouse, infertility, and multiple cancer diagnoses, she still continues to say "yes" to the One who created her. She describes her self as a teacher, pastor, missionary, storyteller, author, and adventurer. Her many-colored hair is only the covering for a very focused individual who believes we all need to live into God's Purpose for our lives and do only what we can do, but not less than that. Her Purpose is to help others find their Purpose. And so she continues to plan and organize and lead mission trips with a huge heart.

Linda's challenge to you: "Learn from your past, take charge of your present, and plan for your future! Today makes us ready for tomorrow."
